Indeed, the plate reader (fluorescence, absorbance, luminescence) is coupled to a 96-well microscope. We can carry out a panel of tests including the evaluation of cellular vitality by ATP assays coupled to cellular cytotoxicity by LDH quantification. In order to provide a visual demonstration of these results, cells can be labelled for visualisation by high-resolution microscopy. The mitochondrial network is a reflection of cellular well-being. Proteomic analyses are capable of screening an entire set of proteins (otherwise known as the proteome) of cells or tissues. It is a powerful tool for discovery and product developement, as it can measure several thousand proteins at once. It provides rich information about claims, mode of action, efficacy and safety of an active ingredient or a mixture of actives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Proteomics analysis is performed in a functional way.
